My husband often tells me that "I LOVE YOU"..I don't know if it is a compliment or what but I feels so special when ever he says so..The way he makes me feel is i cannot explain in words. He usually like my cooking so he always tells me what he likes and what he doesn't.There are a lot of peoples who compliment me but specially I like when my husband does.Because he is most important and special for me.

I also love it when he tells me "he loves me" and how much I mean to him, especially when he is away overseas for work. Thanks for sharing taurean!

The latest compliment I heard was from a fellow mylotter. She knows that I was under a lot of stress lately and never failed to PM me. She kept encouraging me and repeatedly telling me that I am a good person. I haven't seen her personally but coming from someone virtually faceless, and the person I least expect to help me, it was priceless.

My husband of almost 20 years frequently tells me that I am his soul-mate...I know that he is expressing a deep emotional attachment to our relationship....his love for me is unconditional....and so is mine for him....
Please do not misunderstand...there are times when we get on each others nerves...but we are respoectful to each other even when we disagree...we "fair fight"....you know what I mean??? No name calling, no yelling, no bringing up things from the past or that are not relavant to the situation at hand....
I feel blessed each day and thank God,daily, that I have found my other half....

wow 20 years, that is great! we have only been married for 6 going on 7 years and even though we go through ups and downs (like most marriages), I too am thankful that he has come into my life and vice versa. I do know what you mean by "fair fighting" ... I'm still learning in that aspect LOL

Learning to fight fairly does take some practice...but we both are older and know that words just do not heal well when they have caused damage to the heart...
If both of you talk about the "rules" to fair fighting and make a commitment to only have discussions under these circumstances then it can be accomplished quicker than you think....
This is a lesson that I learned with my children as well...it is counterproductive to confuse the original situation with things that are not useful in fixing the present situation...
Having a united front will win the war for both sides....forgiving can sometimes be east...forgetting can sometimes be impossible....or that is how I see it...LOL
Hope that this helped some....I have responded to a few of your discussions now and have invited you to join my friends list....I do hope that you agree....I look forward to many other discussions with you.
