parents and this band

my parents judge a band on how they look and i can stand that is makes me so very mad.
they also get mad at me for listening to this band because they scream and they mad me throw away all of there cds that I owned because "they" didnt like they way that they sounded.
tell me what you think I should do!!!

yes, i agree that it will fine to remind our parents how it feels to be dictated at all times on what we should do. besides, they can never dictate us on how to feel and develop some interests. we are all different persons in so many ways. we have to take each other as people happen to be naturally. older folks will never be able to adapt easily to modern music. just ask them to let you listen to yours. anyway, if they never will, find a way where you can do it away from them. maybe in the yard or in your bedroom or in a friend's house where parents allow their children to enjoy some music with friends on weekends and vacations.

talk to your parents about this. tell them that you are buying the cds again but will only listen to the music on your own. you can always listen to the music using a headphone and they will hear nothing of it. ask them kindly to let you listen to their music and not throw away the cds becuase you have spent goo money on them. your parents will then come out with their rules. listen to what they have to say then, let them understand that htey will have to listen to what you have to say, too. it is always best that we will be able to iron out things with our parents rather than to be quarreling with them.
