This I heard from the low level and superstitious and uneducated people mostly in the labor class and drivers and porters. I fought enough to disprove their claim. Currently I am in Bihar and you know how much lower rate of consciousness is operative here. I threw my quiry to them to reach the source of the rumor and finally none was there and It is the truth. Donot be part of it and instead go in depth and finally you will see the truth. Ask any technology expert related to mobility about this and you will just hear a roar of laughter and no reasoning. Hope this is enough to at least clear your doubt.

It is highly improbable! The communications through mobile, TV, wireless, radio, etc. are based on high frequencies. Please get details from the person who told you about this accident and post those details here. It would help us understand the problem in a better way.
