Why do people get so nervous about putting their own picture up as an avatar? Is it a problem? Are you likely to meet any of these people just walking down the street and have them say `hey, I know you...you're on Mylot!'. I love seeing real people. It feels like being in a little family. Let's see more real, gorgeous actual people yeah?

But people from different countries don't have many chances of meeting each other, then it's a good way to know each other by seeing the pictures, but to have mails is also a good way to make friends, to know each other's culture!

I use my real photo. I've got nothing to hide. There are a lot of people who have famous actors from other countries that I have no clue who they are. LOL
A lot of people know me because I have performed hundreds of times. They usually don't know where.

One more thing. My picture on Orkut was stolen and copied. That was a bad experience so I always think twice before putting up my picture anywhere on the net. There are instances when people's pictures have landed in adult sites. Thought everyone knew that..

Well I think its individual preference. Some people are just plain shy. And iloveles, it IS likely to meet someone on the street you know.. Mylot's growing alarmingly. :)
