What do you do on the weekend?

We have set plans every week. Friday at our house is called Preperation Day. It's the day we prepare our house, ourselves, and food for Shabbat. Saturday is our Sabbath, which begins on Friday evening at sundown. Each Friday I clean the house and prepare it for a feast. I cook a huge meal (that will last the entire weekend), and I bake Challah. I set the table with my finest linens and finest china and silver with candles and flowers. I make sure the house is ready for whatever guests will show up. Sometimes it's just the two of us but many times, it's six or more people. I hardly ever know who will show up. Many times we have couples come in at the last moment. After supper, we have prayers and Bible study. We sit around telling how God worked in our lives throughout the week. We don't discuss work or worldly events. Sometimes our guests stay until the wee hours. On Saturday we don't 'work' at anything. It's our Holy day. We don't do anything 'in the world'. It's a day of rest, whatever that means to different people. Our Holy day ends Saturday at sunset. That's when our 'work week' begins. It's much different to most peoples days and weeks and weekends, but it works for us.

i do about the same. just lay around the house doing much of nothing. i may do some cleaning, or go to kmart, but that is about it. now that the weather is getting hot, i will be stuck in the house for real. i don't do well in the summer. not a fan of all this hot.

Depending on how I feel maybe take the kids out,go to somebody's store,lol visit fam,clean,or just lay around it really depends on how what mood im in

I do household general cleaning on weekends, we also have time to go out and stroll or go to church and the mall. We, as a family love weekends because it is the only time that we go together as a whole.

I basically do whatever happens on the weekend. I also have some clients that I do as well. Also the grandkids live with me so ya never know what is going to happen at our house lol.

just spend time with my pets..hang in the mall..surf in the net..

it's important to sleep in the weekend,and i also watch TV and listen to the music.
