Ever Dated Someone You Met at a Social Networking Site?

Wow! Advanced Happy Anniversary! :) Can you tell us more about your love story?

Thank you! =) It's kind of an odd story. Be prepared for a long post lol... A friend from middle school had found my page and added me. It was a surprise since it had been about two years, and I had moved over 600 miles away (he lives in Maryland, I live in Georgia). He commented me and told me to watch the YouTube video he put on his page. Apparently it was hilarious, so I figured "Why not?" The video was of my future boyfriend. I don't know how I remembered, but I recognized him from middle school, although we had never met. To make things even weirder, I even remembered his name! I think it was because my best friend had a crush on him then, lol. Ironic. Anyways, I saw this boy on my friend's Top 8, and I decided to add him. We started commenting and messaging, then eventually the long conversations on AIM began. We would talk (or IM, rather) for hours on end, especially since it was summer and we could stay up late. We talked about anything and everything. We realized how much we had in common, and that he actually lived on the street behind my old house! Funny how things work out, eh? -_- It had only been a month, but I had a huge crush on this guy. Sadly, I thought, I could never tell him because he lived so far away, and how many teenagers are willing to get into a long-distance relationship? To add onto that, he had a girlfriend. But, they were having problems and he wanted to break up with her. I just tried to give him advice and told him to do whatever makes him happy. Then one day I just poured it all out. I told him how much I appreciated him as a friend and that I was in love. A little straightforward, no? LOL. It didn't matter to me, because apparently he had a crush on me too. He and his girlfriend ended it amicably, and ever since then we've been going strong. In the whole year we've been together, we've only seen each other 3 times, during summer, Christmas, and Spring Break. We plan on meeting again next month for our 1-year =) Kudos to whoever read this whole thing. I know your eyes are tired, lol!
