shoul children be allowed to watch the tv for a long time.

no the childern should not allow to watch tv more than 2-3 hours and it is our responsibility to engaged them in other work .

Everybody keeps saying No No TV is bad. Bad for their eyes, bad for their brain, but nobody has said anything about what good it can do. No, sitting a kid in front of the tv and leaving them there is not a good idea.But, what if people (god forbid) accually spent time with their children (gasp). Some of my son's first words were the names of spongebob characters.and this was at like 8 or 9 mths.Tv can be a interactive tool if you use it right, I give Blues Clues the credit for teaching my kid his ABC's and his math skills

It`s harmfull for their eyes -as it`s when they use computer too long time. And it is also no good because it creates addiction and can alienate them from social contacts.

Well it depends. Now the reason why I said it depends is this; if the children are watching something positive, then I don't think they should be hindered from watching, but if it happends that they're watching something nagative, then I will recommend they should not be allowed. But I do think they should not be allowed to watch TV for a very long time, cos it will affect them. Thanks

I'll say NO. I used to watch TV everyday and for a long long time when I'm just a child. Therefore, I have to wear specs everyday and I really hate that.
