ha ha unfortunately i dun have the mcdonald's recipe. wish i did though. maybe i can make a healthy version. but food that's good for your doesn't taste good. and vice versa i guess! especially in our country where the char kuay teow and laksa are ooh. my own hamburger is very simple. almost cheating cos i use buns bought from the local bread store. and then get those patties from the frozen section. then add cheese slice, and fresh lettuce and maybe tomato. sorry it's not a very good recipe. heh.

I like to season my burgers as they cook. I use a mixture of four tablesppons of salt, two tablespoons of accent, one teaspoon of ground black pepper, and one fourth teaspoon of onion powder. I mix these ingredients and place in a shaker bottle that has holes large enough to let the black pepper out. I form hamburger patties using either ground chuck or ground beef thst is eighty percent lean. After you have formed your hamburger patties places them on a hot grill. This is when I use my shaker to season the patties. Cook them to your preference.

Thanks for sharing. Here is my contribution. Actually I suppose to add a response after creating the new discussion but somehow I can't do it. Dunno why. -------------- 1 serving Ingredients A: --------------- - 1 bun - 1 egg - 4 slices tomato - 4 slices cucumber/pickled cucumber - 1 piece iceberg lettuce, optionally chopped - 1 slice cheese - mustard sauce - tomato sauce - salted butter Ingredients B: --------------- - 100g minced beef (taste better n juicier if you minced yourself) - 1/2 yellow onion, chopped into very fine pieces - Lea sauce/Worcester sauce to taste - honey mustard marinate sauce to taste - oregano leaves to taste - basil leaves to taste - black pepper to taste - salt to taste Instructions: ------------- 1. Mix Ingredients B in a bowl and press into burger form. Optionally you can put into freezer overnight so as the chopped onions become softer after frost/defrost. 2. Melt the butter in a pan, then fried the egg. 3. Put the cheese on top of the fried egg. 4. Melt the butter in the used pan, then pan fried the burger both side until done. Optionally you can put the 20~30% done burger on a grill pan or oven so as it will not be so oily and better taste 5. Put the burger on top of the cheese. The cheese will melt due to the heat from burger and fried egg. 6. Add all ingredients together into a burger.

Ingredients: Mince Meat of your choice (chicken, pork or beef) water chestnuts (finely chopped) onions (finely chopped) egg corn flour (small amounts) salt (to taste) pinch of sugar (optional) Mixed the above ingredients together, mould them into patties, and grill on a non-stick pan The crunchy water chestnuts adds to the texture of the pattie. Serve with a big slice of tomato, some mustard, and cheese between two buns and you have a wonderful burger there. Best if you use pork. For chicken, add some chicken skin to moisten the meat.

My boyfriend is the one who usually makes our burgers. He buys a mix of ground beef, and also throws in a little ground pork. Unfortunatley I don't really have any measurements. We aren't really measurement people....we are more, "taste as you go people". Here are the spices he uses in his burger mix: cumin ginger cayanne pepper salt (kosher or sea) Black Pepper paprika curry He mixes the burger meat and spices by hand and also hand forms the patties. To check the seasoning we heat up a frying pan, and cook a little piece of the meat mixture to taste it. They are great burgers. I often have mine on a toasted bun with just some cheese and a pickle.
