Many adored Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie, Lindsay Lohan and other skinny stars that had been popular by flaunting their bodies under those sexy two-piece swimsuits. Especially that summer has been hitting hard. Beaches have defined what are the loved summer wears. Not only that, the attack of slim fits and skinny jeans are really becoming more and more bias to the sleek, skinny and thin industry.
I admit that I have been dying to lose weight ever since I was 15 and still going. I go to the gym, eat raw and steamed vegetables, oftentimes omitted rice, pork and beef in my meals, and worse, skip meals. I fainted twice because of not eating breakfast during hospital duties. And I should say that until now, I am still convinced to the fact that everyone deserves to ride in the present trend to look good, feel good and belong. No wonder, many teens nowadays are attacked by the known anorexia and bulimia nervosa. Anorexia is associated to people who still see themselves fat when in fact, they are almost skin and bones. While bulimia is where somebody eats a large amount of food at a short period of time and begins to feel guilty about it, thus pushing him/her to do self-induced vomiting, taking laxatives, diuretics and the likes. Great threat poses to these people and among all the sicknesses, this is one of those that's so hard to diagnose since the victims are in denial that they are sick and it takes a while to really recognize that he/she is already sick. With what I briefly shared, have you found the issue and experience familiar? Are you a victim to?
