What would you do...???

Ok, here is the stituation.... You are driving home one night and the van in front of you veers off the road and hits a tree. Being the good samariton that you are, you pull over to offer help and to call 911. All of a sudden the driver and passenger both jump out of the vehicle and run into the woods. You notice a bundle of money on the ground by the open door... What would you do??? Take the money and run? Turn it in to the police? Try and find the people it belongs to?

For me, I would turn it in to the police. I couldn't be too sure what lies ahead of me if I pursue going to the woods and find the people who owns the money. I think that's just what I can do without risking my own safety.
