Guide produced and starred by Dev Anand, directed by Vijay Anand is the best Hindi film I have ever seen. I love this film so much that I watch it every time and it looks as if watching a fresh movie.

i have watched GUIDE hundreds of times and each time it is run in tv channels i watch it as keenly as i watched it the first.i feel the character of raju played by DEV sa'ab is myself for no reason. the ideas of raju are so worldly that i don't mind even placing him together with the character of RAM in RAMAYANA. the movie is a fantastic not only with the story line but also the songs. the songs are describing my own life in a way. the movie is an energy booster to me and all those energy comes to me through the character of raju only. i would be happier if anyone could think a sequel to this movie and i think that none other than DEV sa'ab can do this,i am waiting for this eagerly

Thanks for the comment dear. I am a die hard fan of Dev Sahab. I try to copy him (means the lifestyle he promoted in his films) in my daily life. Dev Anand iss one of the greatest and the most intelligent character in Indian film industry. I feel the same as you that Guide should be sequelled and definitely under Dev Sahab's direction.

Hello, pratijain I agree everything you wrote here. 'Guide' is the movie that every person must see. I also recommend it for youth. I never loved old hindi movies and my father told my they are really watch worthy. I took a chance. As I started watching it I wept within 15 miniuts. I loved role of Dev Anand. After this movie I saw several other lod movies (you must see), B. Santaram's 'Do Ankhein Barah Haath' and 'Navrang', Raj Kapoor's 'Shree 420', 'Tisri Kasam', Guru Dutta's 'Pyassa', Sahib Biwi Aur Gulam, Raj Kumar's 'Pakeezah', Dilip Kumar's 'Naya Daur','Mugal-E-Azam' and many others.
