How do We get Rated?

Your star rating only comes after you have reached 100 response/discussions on myLot. After that, it's dependent on the quality of your answers and the ratings other users give you.

I think the first 2 responses above have already covered this for you - yes it is at 100 posts that you will receive your star rating. I was a bit confused about this myself when I first joined. I think I got a 6 when I reached 100 posts, then a short while later it jumped up to an 8 and so on. Basically to keep a high star rating, do your best to write quality discussions and responses. Don't write responses such as "I don't know" or "I agree with you" as these may be perceived by others as responses just to get + ratings. Some will mark you with a - and some will not mark you at all so you'll have wasted your time and possibly reduced your overall rating. Don't worry too much about it, as long as you're enjoying being on the site and giving your best in your responses you should be fine :) Take care.
