getting bored while being alone

i may be young compared to most, but i feel i really want a decent relationship with a girl, yet no one seems to like me in this way unfortunately, i class myself as a person with a great personality who is always up for a laugh, as well as knowing when to be serious, i feel i am an alrigh looking guy so why do i fail with the ladies to much. I really fancy a good relationship with someone, it may not be the totally serious one to the point that i marry someone, but i do not want one that lasts just a couple of months.
