What would you do?

This person keeps sending me a friend request and I keep denying it. He is only 17 years older and really don't want to be friends with a male minor. I have denied his friend request twice now and low and behold when I opened my page today I had a friend request, and it was from him again. I denied it again but it is seriously getting to be annoying. Why can't some people just take no for an answer? There is no law that says we have to accept every friend request that we receive. So what can I do to get this person to leave me alone?!

I hate to say it, but short of sending a message to admin about it, the best you can do is to keep denying his request. You could accept him, send him a PM stating politely that you do not want to be friends with him, and then delete him again. But I think that might end up being more trouble than it's worth. I think I would just keep denying him, and hopefully he will get the hint.

Wise advice Katlady! I myself continue to deny him as I do not think that anyone should have 3000 friends as he does! I value the friends I have and believe we should keep our list down so that we can effectively be there for the friends that we have! :)

LOL - he's on my friends list now, figured if he wanted to be friends that bad I would give him a chance. It was getting annoying. One problem though and he'll be off for good.

Your not alone ladies... I've denied him twice myself! He has close to 3000 friends and I'm not sure why he needs more! I do well to keep up with my 36 and value those I have :)

OH I didn't even notice the 3000 friends, I read his discussions and checked what he had responded to. I'm just going to delete him - there's no way he's going to respond to any of my discussions with that many friends.

Normally I never deny any one who ever requested as my friend but if I found out he is only taking the opportunity to fish my responses only then I’ll delete his name straight away. Recently one of my friends she did delete several times for a particular person that keep on requesting several times. Whether you accept or reject a person as friend is up to your discretion to do so.

He's asked me twice now and I have denied him twice... If he asks me again I think I will just leave his request there. I'm not sure he understands the point of MyLot as he has close to 3000 friends...He can't possibly be there for all of them or do them justice!!

I wish we could block users from contacting us after we have denied them. It is annoying when that happens. I hope he leaves you soon! Take care1

Just let it stay on approve/deny state and ignore it for a while, shouldn't be that much of a problem I'd say.

it is too impressing that you deny him for the first time and a second time , i wonder from him how he did that , but maybe he thought that you didn't receive the first one so he want to make sure or else want to post you a referral link to be his down line , maybe he is a business man never except no for an answer !!

I don't think there is much you can do! You will just have to keep denying his request, which is a nuisance I know. Perhaps My Lot should put up a banned catergory, where individuals can list people that are not allowed to request friendships.

I would just leave it. Don't accept or deny. Just leave the request there. I had a guy do that to me. All his posts were of a sordid nature and I found him offensive. His friends list was only women, scantily clad or posed ones at that. Yuck! After denying him twice, I ignored him and eventually denied him. I haven't seen hide nor hair of him since. Hopefully he left.

Sounds like the same one sending me endless friend requests. About a half dozen now. His avatar is animated musical notes? I'm tempted to friend him just long enough to tell him to shove it, but I guess I'll just keep denying the requests till he gives up. Maybe he's trying to set a record for number of friends.

I would just let it sit in your friend's request area with a friendship pending....never to accept or deny. That way he can not again ask you to be his friend - nor can he private message you anything. I wish mylot had an ignore feature that we could utilize.

you don't answer him,and treat him as a stranger.he is 17 years old and he is still a child,so his thought is so childish that make you in trouble, you can refuse his as your have girl friends, and will be get married soon,if he is always trouble you ,you can tell the police to cope with.

Just ignore him if you really don't like him to be friend. You cannot control it really if he likes to be your friend so just don't mind him for now. One day, he will get tired of adding you up so just don't mind him.

The problem is if I deny his request he should accept and leave me alone. I just got #4 from him today. It is quite annoying.

Try just leaving it open on your friend request. This way you aren't approving or denying and when it sits open he won't be able to continue to ask. Other than that I don't think you can do anything. I'm pretty sure he can just keep asking- What a pain. I had the same person ask me like 4 times before they stopped. I think it's crazy also. Could be that he forgets that he is asking you- but if it keeps happening then obviously that isn't the case. so really just keep it open or pending in your friend status.
