New Fall Line Up--Shows Being Cancelled.......

Crossing Jordan - Cast Of Crossing Jordan
Canada
May 16, 2007 7:04pm CST
CBS has apparently nuked "Jericho," dismissed "Class" and closed the book on "Close to Home." ABC cancels 'The George Lopez Show. NBC, the first of the broadcast networks to unveil a new schedule to advertisers this week, canceled "Crossing Jordan" and the high-profile failure "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." This is only a tip of what the news has given me. Do you keep up with what the new fll line up will hold for you? or do you wait until the day arrives? Who will miss Crossing Jordan??

I won't really miss Crossing Jordan, because I feel that it has had a good run. I'm surprised that they cancelled Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip though because it was such a high-profile show. Don't forget that 7th Heaven, Reba, and Gilmore Girls were cancelled too! It seems the show I always love get cancelled but 30 Rock and Scrubs are still around so I'm happy.

The last episode of Crossing Jordan Sucked. Sure there was a plane crash, some action but to put in all into an hour really sucked. I find it ended just like the last few years, boring drab and waste of time.....CSI has more bite..

Have to agree. Crossing Jordan's series finale was their worst show ever. But at least Jordan and Woody ended out together. :)

The only of those shows I watched was Jericho. I think if they started it as a summer series and reran it every week..many people would be back to watch it in the fall. It was a good show with an unfortunately all to possible premise.

I don't watch a lot of television. I am surprised that LOST is still on the air. Every time I watch a show and get involved in it, they cancel it.

it seems they tend to do that to a lot os shows. It is like they do not care what others are watching, just want to keep tv fresh. But the summer months are so boring.

I'm sorry to see Crossing Jordan go but it certainly wasn't as exciting as shows like CSI and L&O. I am kind of sad to see "Close to Home" go, I was just getting into it. I think what is happening is the reality and game shows are taking over the airwaves. I know that when I am watching a reality I show that is on at the same time as a drama like CSI or L&O, I will tape the drama and watch the reality show. Usually the reality show gets top billing because you don't want to hear the results on the news before you see the tape or there is a results show the next night. I used to be so hooked on sitcoms. There are so few of them now. The only ones I was watching were Two and a Half Men and The New Adventures of Old Christine. I think the sitcoms really need a big name to draw the audience in like Ray Romano on Everybody Loves Raymond. But still, the reality shows seem to be taking over.

If this is true, I will be very disappointed. Crossing Jordan is one of the only weekly shows I routinely watch. I really like Jill Hennesy's character and the goings on of the show.

I hate it when they cancel favorite shows like "Jericho" "Close to Home" and "Crossing Jordan" although the latter was nearing the end of its run. I really hated it when ABC canceled "Prey" back in the late 1990s after only one season before they had a chance to further develop the characters and the story. I sure hope they do not cancel any of the CSI shows or the Law and Order Shows or NCIS OR Numbers. They can cancel "Medium" and "Ghost Whisperer" for all I care.

I don't have to worry about keeping up with the new fall line-up or the old fallline-up. It takes us a few years to get the good ones here in Portugal unless you get pay TV. I have cable but all the latest anything is codified and I won't pay for something I will rarely watch. +

It will certainly make it much easier to decide what to watch on Wednesday night. I think this season was alot different than the first ones. I really miss Jordan's re-enactment with her dad. I miss the gang meeting at the bar. It has just lost alot of its wit. I will miss this show anyway. Hopefully she will find another project to occupy her time and our minds.

it seems that next to CSI there was just something missing from jordan...I just do not think they it gave it any chance. It needed more power, more fun, for action. But week after week it was the same think and jordan was always involved in it somehow. Did not make sense.. Thanks for the post

Thanks for the info. I am OK with these shows being cancelled as I dont watch any of them. I have watched George Lopez a couple of times but it wasn't all that good.

You are not missing much. The shows that are being canceled are not worth keeping in my humble opinion. Thanks for the post

I'm definitely missing Crossing Jordan. I typed a rant about it a week ago. If you want you can check it out on my profile. I'm to lazy to type it again hehe. Anyways I really miss the show but at the same time am glad to see it go. It was still doing really well and the shows storylines were still really good. I'd rather have it go off the air still a good and respected show than have it run another season where it would most likely be horrible. -Stephanie

The last episode seemed as though they were not expecting to have the show end. It was very drap and did not end like a series ender. So maybe it was a shoke.
