Hi mymytri. I stopped mylot for 15 days now and I just got back on the internet and started to post. I can say that my rating didn't change. And I don't think this can happen to anyone unless they have been rated negative by other people. So sorry mymytri, some people rated you negative that's why your star dropped. This happened to me one time. I had the 10 ratings and after I responded to a discussion with a point of view that was against the person who started the discussion about religion, the very next day my star dropped to 9. You will get your star back up again after receiving plus ratings from your friends. I just rated you positive here so good luck!

Good for you mymytri! As for your 10 rating it will only come from people rating you positive. So keep posting and answering discussions, the more you do that the more you will get positive ratings... One month is a reasonable time and I'm sure you will reach your goal. I will give you some positive ratings from time to time to help with that. Good luck!

I'm not too sure. Today is the first time I've visited Mylot in 3-4 months and I've gone down two points. I wouldn't have thought just a couple of days (like in your case) would make much difference though?

Well if your star went from 6 to 7 that is an increase so that is good, the star is the rating from other posters giving + or - to discussions, it is good when it goes up, so congratulations you are doing good.

I don't think that's really related. But I haven't be around usually during the weekend and that would be from Saturdays to Sundays. Whenever I log in on Mondays, I still find my star rating the same. I don't know what it is to make your ratings go down that rapidly but I don't think it's associated with the fact that you're not being around posting. That has never happened to me. Maybe people rate your discussions negatively during your absence and that's why.

i dont know if its true. im sorry for your decreased rating but for me, there was also a time when i got busy and i didnt have time to log in to mylot. fortunately, when i logged in after about a week or so, my number 8 rating was still the same. :) maybe someone has been rating you negatively. im not sure though. good luck!
