I have done many waitressing jobs. The best advice I can give you is always smile, be polite and pleasant. If you are unsure of something or don't know be honest with the customer. Whenever I started work at a new restaurant I would always start my table service with a cheery hello and a smile, followed by I am new to working here and am still finding my way around, so please excuse me if I make any mistakes. But hopefully everything will run smoothly!
The response on the main was absolutely wonderful. People appreciate the honesty and if they are in a hurry etc they can tell you before it becomes a problem if something does go wrong! I remember one time I was in such a flap I put a ticket (with meal order) in my apron pocket rather than on the chefs counter! The customers were ok when I explained what I had done! The chef wasn't!
I'm sure you will be fine. Good luck!

work as a waiter,i did that in my college spare time, and earned money to maintain my dailylife.so do a part-work is very hard and boring to earn little money.i do that without training,it is vary simple to work as a waiter in our country, just give a good serve to guest, the guest is easy to serve, because my work at the restaurant is not famous in the city, just a small restaurant, and have money people to go here to eat.
