Manny Pacquiao known as "Pacman the Destroyer" joined the congressional race in General Santos recently in the elections here. He claimed that he was cheated by Re-electionist Rep. Darlene Custodio. In my opinion being a professional boxer he should show sportsmanship. Just like in the boxing arena. So what can you say? is he cheated or not?

correction: "i think it was fair that Darlene Custodio..." that should be:"i think it was fair that Darlene Custodio won"

Manny Pacquiao played on his popularity. He didn’t have a platform and no one knew what he stood for. And as Darlene Custodio said and I quote, “It doesn’t mean that the people in our district don’t love him. They do. They just didn’t want him representing them in Congress,” This must be a lesson to Manny Pacquaio just as he did prepare for his battle against Morales and Solis. He should have listened to his critics. He could still help his fellow men in his own ways, why not? But definitely not through politics.

very true... I agree... I dont believe he's been cheated... it doesnt mean that he's popular he'll win... i think the electorate are now intelligent enough and are now thinking twice whom they'll vote... yes, indeed he can really help a lot... i think he already had a foundation... i think he was just used... dont u think?

It was really a time that i feel cold on my love as a fan for Manny Pacquiao, the boxing champ. I really don't want him to enter politics. And now i realized he is sad to say, not good enough to be a good model for our youth. Actually, i really prayed that his discretion to enter into politics won't succeed. And just recently he had some encounters with other politicians in our place and he wasn't able to maintain a good tact! I just hope Manny would realize that politics isnt close to boxing arena. I am confident he can't handle the chair he's aiming for.

Hence, I don't believe he's been cheated! Why don't he try to investigate if he feels skeptical on the event. I dont want him to say everything with just his instinct!

my admiration for him dwindle a couple of notch. he should have not entered politics. darlene has beaten him fairly. pacman should realize that politics require the right tool, same with boxing. sad to say he does not have that tool to make it into politics.

his not cheated is just that lots of pilipino's knows that in making some law boxing has no relation in any ways making this laws.........just a simple question how a low educational background can make a good law...how can he fight for that law in a debate...where his enemy are lawyers?.......see its hard.
