Modern gadgets have made us slaves to machines. From doing things in kitchen to higher one in industrial units all depends on machines. This all has made the modern man a slave to these gadgets. Consequently. human health has deteriorated to a larger extent . Our forefathers used to miles and miles, but today we need a vehicle to cover a few hundred meters. This aspect of human life has made man fully prone to rapid deterioration. Man has become a machine - emotionless and devoid of mercy, pity and peace !!!

Errr...you seems to have a deep hatred for the machines. I don't think that men has become what you described - emotionless and devoid of mercy, pity and peace? It would implied that I'm also one without feelings and emotions at all. Machines nowadays are a part of every human beings. But understand that a machine can't operate by itself. It still need a human being to be able to function well. A machine doesn't have a brain. It won't know when to stop and when to start. It will become useless when its broken. Humans have the ability to think and to feel. Not unless you will let the machines ruled your life.

No its not like that modern gadgets are made to ease our work load from time to time. giving us freedom to do those things that we've never been enjoyed before. like if your going to have a hangout with your friends and your clothes are all dirty already with help of washing machine with one touch timer or button you may enjoy your friends hangouts. another example is if your in a hurry in the morning and you don't have a time to wash your dishes because your getting late to school the dish washing machine will can help to do it for you. just leave your dirty dishes and the machines will work for you. this will give you convenience to your time and energy. another good advantages of having a gadgets in our house is for example in a security purpose you are going to excursion with your families and there's no other people will look into your house the surveillance machine gadgets will work best for you this will monitor any single movement in your house and any suspicious acts that may occur in your house. this will maximize the used of your laptop or cellular phones. with regards to sending message or letters to your relatives, and friends of even your office mates. computers with internet function will solve your messy or even bulk message that your going to send. instead of writing a message in a paper you just turn on your computer get hooked to the internet and start making your message then after you're done then send it as many recipients as you want what a convenience right??? that why for me Modern machine helps people to ease their work load and convert this work load into more relaxing and more enjoyable life. i don't blame people try to says that modern gadgets to make us slave its up to us we as individual people have the responsible for do it if we allow that modern gadgets turns us into slave then the problems is ours. the one i can only says is that MODERN GADGETS gives us more freedom and leisures in life today, tomorrow and to our future.....

I think modern machines can be helpful in everyday life. Totally depending on them can turn a person into a slave. I don't think that all men a deviod of mercy, pity and peace. To pity someone does nothing to help them. And peace can be found within, no matter how many machines there are.

Human being was doing new invention for making life easy! We know this and we have considered this process and a progress of human life and human intelligence and creativity also!
This was the path of life and then we entered in the smooth life concept! So this process has invited issues regarding our progress and mean while science and technology has get together and made a huge difference in the production level and then come marke5ting and selling and so on!
And now we are here, where you are saying this has made us slaves to machines! But still it is in our hand, if we again start the use of hand to stop us from this problem creating life system!
BUT ARE WE READY FOR THAT?

Sure we are and I'm happy with it.... when I was a boy we brought the hay into the barn, loose on wagons, we used horses to pull the wagons, it was hot, and sweaty, and we worked like slaves.....
Today we bale the hay in 1200 lb bales and bring it in with a tractor...... we never need to out of the Air-Conditioned tractor cab, or even turn off the radio in the tractor......
As for our health... join a Yoga club and work out in the Gym.
I'm 73 and still farming.......never been in better Health!
Now your telling me we are slaves to our machinery?
Its Very obvious to me you are Just a Babe-in-the Woods!

Because of "machines" I now have friends in almost every continent. Because of "machines" I can find out what is happening on the other side of the world without picking up a newspaper. Because of "machines" I was able to start a heart beating again on an ambulance. Because of "machines" I can stay in touch with my parents who live 1,000 miles away.
I agree that too many people let machines do everything for them, and would be unable to cope if the power went out for very long... but then again, the power went out in the U.S. East Coast for days and guess what... people showed their mercy, emotion and peace.

Today is all about comfort and convenience. It's all about transcending and "evolving". Our society does pretty much depend on technology nowadays, but some I think is relatively necessary. Of course we can survive without all the fridges and computers and electricity, but then we would also know very little about science, or space, or...anything for that matter. We're learning about our surrounding without really...adapting to it. I dunno. If it was up to me we wouldn't have cars, and we wouldn't have computers, or videogames. I think it would teach something that many people have lost these days, respect and gratitude.

I agree with your 100%, sukumar. These modern gadgets also make us lazy. We do not depend on ourselves any more but on these machines. In the days of the past, no wonder they were healthier than we are today.

Man used to be built like a machine back in the day where we actually had to put force and effort to do things. YOu are right though modern gadgets have made us lazy and unhealthy. This is sad really and we will continue to deteriorte rapidly as progress is still on the go making things easy faster and better with less effort on our part. We can save ourselve by doing more things the old fashioned ways but it is too easy not too. We have to feet a heart beat and a will of our own but will we use it to save ourselves who knows. I believe we have progressed to much and it is coming back to bite us in the butt big time.

that's probably true. Maybe i can't live without my cellphone. I got everything in it. including personal stuf, vlogs, internet, pictures, videos and more. Cellphones have become a need for man. Not a want anymore. it has become more of a necessity to me. And maybe to you. Cellphones have been in demand in just a few yeas time. And the second machine i probably can't live without is my computer. It provides us the information we need in everyday. Computers and internet are really a perfect match!
