Me and my family just got out from the hospital this morning since my child was admitted last sunday due to diarrhea with moderate dehydration. It really pains me to see my child with an IV hooked on his left arm. And most importantly everytime he does a poo and cries. Now I am really thankful those painful episodes are over and I do hope it would never reccur. I think I would take even much good care to him. And your children too. please do take good care of them..

It is glad to hear your out of hospital,i can understand your feelings as we experienced the same with my son 8months back and really it is a heaven we lived out there for 5 days and later our son is allright and there after we never gave a chance of getting ill of him and now he is playing nicely. No parent can see thier kids in illhealth without playing others actively but it is such a situation that every parent shgould be active and should be with atmost brave enough to face this as confidence is the main medication of the human which cures them 1/2 and remaining the m,edication does. All the best and take good care of your child and dont give chance reapting the same with your son. Have a good time always.

I'm glad your little one is over the worst now and on the road to recovery. It is never easy to have your child admitted to hospital.

yeah.. i would always think of myself with that IV rather than him.. I should be the one in that situation since i can tolerate any pain. those tiny hands seem so vulnerable!!

My oldest son went in the hospital with croup when he was a year. He had to be tented to help his breathing and they had him in one of those huge metal cribs that are like a cage, the bars went way up over his head. The worst part was they had to put his IV in his little foot, it was so sad.

I'm glad the worst is over for your son! It is such a helpless feeling watching your own children suffering and not being able to help or see them get well fast enough. My family is doing well today and for that i am grateful. Thank you for caring, you take care Kclaret.

I hope your child is feeling better. My son picked up a virus in Samoa a year ago and was vomiting and had diarrhea as well. Luckily he wasn't admitted to hospital but he was very close to it though. He lost so much weight during that time too. I don't like to see my son sick at all and I do know how upsetting this can be.

Yup, I have passed that stage of kids getting sick, and us getting worried. Being parents is never easy because it pains us so much to see our child in pain...there were even times that I wished that those pain were not my child's but my own. Well, thanks God your child is now out of the hospital, and I'm sure is already regaining back his health fast....I really took good care of my children that's why both of them are now grown ups...
