What are you most afraid of?

Dying, flying, falling, drowning?
Being trapped, going to the cemetary, being shot?
Clowns, ghosts, devils, snakes, spiders?
Seeing your parents naked, tripping in front of an audience, getting into a plane crash?
What fears you the most? What is your phobia?
For me, it would be being in the dark all alone. I literally tore down pictures from my room's wall just to try to find the door to get out my room and find my brothers when lightening caused the power to go out. You would think that I would know my way around the room without tearing it up but when things go black all of a sudden, I go berserk!

Will you believe me? I am terrified of other people vomiting. It is called emetophobia. I, personally hate vomiting but I am paranoid about other people. Apparently it is quite common. I hate hate hate gastro and freak when around people who feel slightly queasy. I leave public toilets, hate clubs, detest hospitals, anything to avoid the possibility. I worry about my kids/hubby constantly and just about send them bonkers. Wierd problem, I know but difficult to live with nevertheless. I am also very scared of clowns but you can appreciate that vomit tends to be a more occuring part of everyday life. It really sucks.

Wow...I didn't know there was a technical name for the fear of people vomiting. Interesting fact! I am not terrified personally but I just hate see the process of someone throwing. I have a really sensitive gag reflex. I have to walk way, hold my breath, and cover my ears because I would gag really easily.

I would have to say that my biggest fear is water. I love the water don't get me wrong. But as a youing child I feel into a lake 3 times in a 15 minute span being saved by a friend of the family. Granted the third time I was told, "Just stand up fool" as the water was only 2 feet deep. But ever since I hate swimming alone and don't like the idea of drowning. I am a good swimmer though. Hahaha! I do swim in lakes, rivers, and pools just that I never do it alone. I need someone near me when in the water. Just a tad fearful is all. LOL.

Sometimes when you are in a traumatizing situation, you can't really think straight. Some of the simplest commands, such as "stand up" are the most important.

LOL at the "just stand up fool" comment! That's just one of those classic comments. I get nervous when I first get into the pool. It takes me awhile to get adjusted to the water environment. I would never try to swim alone because I never know what might happen when I'm in that water. That's a great habit to have someone near you in the water! Thanks for sharing!!! :)

i fear sea, i dont want to travel through boats, ships. i dont even swim in swimming pool. and also i usually had dreams that my ship is crashed and i m in the sea.

Wow...you really do have a fear of the sea. Glad you weren't on the titantic, huh? I don't think I will ever want to be out on the see in the winter time while the water is freezing.

phobia with water and i always afraid with this even i first collect water in a bucket and than take a bath. still .

I'm not a big fan of deep water so I'd have to say drowning. I think if I'd see a ghost I'd be pretty freaked out. Spiders are not my friends, I want them to stay away from me, far, far, away.

I'm afraid of headless priests during the dark. Here in my place I've seen them, i mean ghost priests. Some say they were hanged or some kind of torture during the war.

I am afraid of height. This phobia has been with me since i was very young. Not sure why. Whenever i face down from a tall building , hill or somewhere i was high, i will have a feeling that i will fell down any moment. The longer i look down the more i feel i am going to fell down.
I am afraid of taking plane. I afraid some bad event might happen. As what you have mention above.
I am also afraid to fall in love. haha... Maybe i afraid to hurt someone one day or maybe i might be get hurt.

for me to be in the sea, swimming, snorkling or whatever you do in the sea. coz the sea is wide... and the wave, you can't fight it. it really freaks me out.

I am afraid of losing myself. As a freshman in society, I find that much more things are different from morality taught by our former education. There are too much lies,slanders, spite and so on. I don't know whether it's the real situations of the adults' world. If it so, I hope I could never grow up.

I am afraid of loosing someone I love. I watched someone very close loose her dad at a young age and I dont know what I would do if this happened to me. I know noone lives forever but I will fall apart If and when I loose someone I love!!

I really dislike frogs. Especially the big fat ones with bubbly shiny back. I had it when my gradfather catched a frog and tried giving it to me. I think I was 7 that time. Im terrified of frogs.. Creepy

I'm really afraid of falling.... Apart from that,I dont think I'm afraid of anything else. But I'm really afraid of the kind of people around me, who just praise me before me and try to pull me down at my back..I really afraid those people, because its really hard to locate them, even after locating them, its really hard to control them....

lice, rats, deep water, in the middle of the big waves in the sea, lost my parents, lost my families, jumping in the high building, being trapped in the cave, suffocating my head in of the plastic bag, snakes, alligator, these are my phobias in life. but the most things that i'm afraid of is when i found myself not save if Jesus comes with his glory because of my transgression in his laws being throw in the lake of fire with bunch of wicked souls and being tormented as long as the effect of my sins ends. that is my climax thing that i'm afraid of being lost in the end when the end of the world comes... i'm going to ask you are afraid with that thing too???
