i had been only a member of myLot a few days ago. to tell you frankly, i joined here to earn extra dough. not much of a good motive, right? hehe. anyways, i have been inviting people here to be my friend though i don't really know them in real life. i'm just wondering if it's okay to invite people i don't know to become my friends here in myLot. would they mind it? im just wondering....

Friends are nothing but u can share your feeling when u join in school u will take so time and finally u decided to talk to some people only so u will decide they are only your friends! and but in mylot inviting people to be ur friends must be approve by both sides but here coming for money not for friendship so u r not sharing ur feeling ,just dumping here some discussions and responding some discussions and leaving that much u cannot expect any more here!!!hehehehe

Hi, rojane. I can only speak for myself, but the friends I have on myLot, I don't, and never will know them in real life. I think that is how it is so easy to have as many friends as you like. I never mind when people invite me to be their friend, as I'm sure nobody else does.

don't worry about that, sure you can invite them even you don't know them personally.
you can be their firend by invite them and most people like to be your friends.
get more friends, you might get more money as you can see a item under discussion: discussions from my friends.
so then you can choose it and reply your friends post.
and they also can reply yours,so you might be with higher grade and earn money.
hope you have a good luck.

You can't send a message to someone until they're your friend. So there's really no way to introduce yourself or ask them first. I'm new to MyLot also, have sent out a couple of friend requests.

I think you had already added, Me. Welcome to mylot, and it is good to make new friends. It is fine to add people, but many like it if you have a chance to talk to them or discuss with them for awhile first. I however will usually add anyone who would like a friend.
take care,

hOW DO YOU MAKE FRIENDS OFF THE INTERNET? dO YOU NOT TRY TO SEE IF YOU SHARE SOME COMMON GROUNDS LIKE YOUR LIKES AND DISLIKES ETC? sAME HERE. mOST MEMBERS READ A FEW OF YOUR DISCUSSIONS THEN THE PROFILE AND MAKE A DECISION FROM THERE. aFTER THAT COMES THE FRIENDSHIP AND COMRADERie.

nice to hear from you again uncle, errrrr, Grandpa Bob! ;)
to see other people who share the same interests as mine really makes me happy. well at least there are persons who could actually relate to whatever i'm saying.
but then again there are those who oppose some of my views. and you know what? i enjoy hearing their own side. it just makes me see other angles which i haven't seen before. myLot do help some, like me, to be more open-minded. haha. hearing all sides and different opinions tend to be educational too, doesn't it?
hope to hear from you again, grandpa bob! i tend to get flattered every time someone as veteran as you here in myLot responds to the discussions made by a neophyte like me. :D

I think it is perfectly ok to invite people you dont know on my lot as friends. I have about 65 people on my list and dont know any of them (though they all invited me not me). But this is a forum to get people to give input on your discussions and vice versa. So if having freinds on your list helps you to do then I see nothign wrong in it.

it is a nice gesture to invite them to your lists that is what everyone is doing. get as much as you want but filter it depending on the way they anser your discussions if you like them then invite them then turn your notifier on so you could respond to their discussions.it is ok, go for it just like i did with you.

I think it is perfectly okey if you think you could jibe with those people or you have the same interest. The reason why we have friends here is for mutual support and help each other earn by responding and rating each others discussions.

for me its ok. I have not turn down an invitation from total stangers. you are free to invite to whomever you want to be your friends.

I'm also new around here, and I've been doing the same. No-one I know personally is a myLot user as far as I know, so I just added people who have similar opinions and create cool discussions, or at least gave a nice reply in one of mine. No-one will care! :)
