She is the queen, she governs the Commonwealth, and Australia is apart of that. Seeing as we were founded by Britain. But apart from us, alot of other countries still have kings and queens instead of Presidents.

I never thought Australia is a part of England and they are governed by the Queen. It is nice to have a Queen . I find it chic.

Yeah, we are still apart of the Monarchy, but we have a Prime Minister. She is just the Head Honcho, but we're still apart of Britain and such..

I believe the Netherlands have a king and also Sweden. Their government set up is similar to Britain. They have a monarch and a prime minister. I believe Spain has returned to a monarchy also, but I may be wrong about that. They used to have one, then went to a different government for a while. I believe they reinstated their king. I'll bet you could find out for sure on ask.com or wikipedia. I haven't checked lately.
