Can you hold your breath? For how long?

Being a swimmer, I can hold my breath up to 80 seconds. My friends will be amazed at my breath controlling power. Pranayama helps a lot to control breath.

I can hold my breath for 45-50 seconds. My record is 55 seconds, but it was 4 or 5 years ago and I don't know for how long now I would hold my breath. Maybe I will try and write it there later.

I dont know how much time i can hold the breath ,but in the morning i do prnayam and ihold it for 3 sec not more than that andi do it for 15 rounds.the yogis can hold breath more time

Well, ya got my curiosity up, so I held my breath, using a stop watch, I held it for 1 min 6 sec.

Just tried and my record is 37.1 seconds

When he/she was child I had the habit of arresting the breath under it longs for, it was arguing with friends who it holds more the breath.The maximum that I already got to hold the breath was 1 minute and 30 seconds.

when we were younger, during high school days, we used to "play" that under water. me and my friends would hold on to each others arms, go under, and wait for the first and the last one to come up. another friend outside the pool would count the length of our stay underwater. the longest i ever did was 107seconds. but heck! my friend was better! he did a full 120seconds.. which includes the 5 seconds he almost drowned.. hahaha.. c",)
