I think it's interesting that Desmond didn't see the ambush in his vision. I think that Desmonds visions are true, but I also don't think they are set in stone. Perhpas the fact that Charlie was yelling so loudly when he got into the station changes the course of what was going to happen?
Also it was never said when Claire and Arron got in the helecopter? How old was Arron? Maybe the rescue is still a long way away? I really liked last nights epidoes. Seeing Charile's top 5 moments in his life was so sweet. It definitely had me teary in some parts.
I'm really looking forward to next week!

We don't know if Desmond didn't see the ambush. It wouldn't be the first time that he with held information from his vissions. Maybe he did see it. Maybe that is the way Charlie is supposed to die but told him a lie instead. I guess we'll find out.

You're right Poor Charlie. No matter what he does
it appears a black cloud (or rather) black smoke
follows him. He can't get a break. With them, who
I imagine are more Others holding him, who knows
when he'll be rescued or freed. Notice I said when.
I think it will be left in the air next week and
we'll have to wait for next season to find out more.

Don't worry. Locke will be just fine. He's
a very integral part to the plot. Hopefully
Charlie too but I'm not so sure.

I heard on the Radio that a main character is suppose to die. I hope he doesn't. I felt sick when he jumped into the water knowing he was going to die. So sad!
I love this show. It just keeps getting better and better. I will miss it over the summer. Better to have no shows on though as we should all be out side.

I agree, he had no idea what he was getting into. He was so unprepared. I agree with what has already been said about Desmond and his visions. I don't think he told the whole story and there probably was a reason why he wanted to go instead of Charlie. I would have asked, also, how big the baby was when Claire and Aaron were getting into the helicopter. I know Desmond said he didn't know when, so that would be a question I would have asked.
I have a feeling the Domanic Monahan probably wants to move on to other things, or his contract is just about up. So Charlie may either die or disappear.

As soon as Charlie got into the station I said to my husband that I thought I saw someone standing there. I was wrong of course but he did agree that he thought he saw someone too. Could have been a shadow or one of the pillars or machines. So I was not surprised that these two women jumped out at him. I mean, surely the station would be "manned" and why didn't Juliet mention THAT? Obviously the submarine got blown up and they no longer have access to the station so these two ladies have been stranded down there. I wonder if they have any food.
I think Charlie can charm his way out of this one. I hate to see him leave the show.
As for Desmond, I am still questioning as to whether his visions are real or not. Sometimes I think he is just making stuff up.

You know, you're right. In fact, I think that the submarine may have been used solely for the purpose of getting to this station. I know a lot of people probably thought that it was used to get off the island, but now I'm not sure. I don't think anyone ever gets off the island.

I can not even guess...I kinda think either Charlie or Desmond will die. I kinda hope now that Charlie has cleaned up his act and he and Claire are getting on so well and he's a good father for Aaron.I hope Ben gets bumped off though. He gives me the creeps!

Sorry, I am going to cast my vote for the "kill Charlie" side. I have really not liked his character for the majority of this season. If he is gone, they could spend some more time developing Namoi.

I hope he will be saved again, and maybe this will be the last time he has to be saved. I don't know what the show would be like without him in it. I also liked his flashbacks on this one. I hope they don't kill him.
