Why do Hotdogs come in bundle of 8, while Hotdog buns come in bundle of 10? Hopefully, someone can answer that question of mine. Thank you.

In case someone drops a hotdog bun on the ground, he has some extras...LOL. :) I would probably drop the bun before the hotdog because the hotdog means much more to me than to have it rolling to the ground. Honestly, I don't know though...great question!

That's a great theory. hehe But it could not be pork n beans...because they still could not eat them since it would have meat products. ;)

OOooo...LOL...I came up with ANOTHER reason. Maybe the other two buns are for vegetarians! You can't leave them out of the party, now can you? Maybe they just load up their buns with pork'n'beans, cole slaw, mustard, and etc. This could be a possibility! :)

I have never quite figured out the theory for the little things in life such as these. Here it's usually the buns come in 6 or 8. I guess it's to try to mke people buy more of stuff....but then you have left over buns if you have to buy an extra package.

My hotdogs come in packs of ten and the rolls in packs of 6. My family only eat 6 hotdogs in a meal so the other four get frozen for quick lunches on another day or to heat up and give to the kids as a treat. So it's not really a problem for me. It has to all be in the marketing though right? Make us buy more then we need in order to get more profits?

This is one crazy thing that only the idiosyncracies of businessmen can answer. Or is it just one of those quirks in life that is easier observed than pondered upon. To make things even, you have to buy 10 bundles of hotdogs and 8 bundles of buns. Right? But who needs 80 hotdogs? Well, perhaps this makes sense if you own a hotdog stand and you want to save and realize some profits. But if you are an ordinary person, trying to make ends meet and still want to feed your family right, then I don't think you would choose hotdogs as your main food. Intellectual question ineed!

It's a commie plot, perpetuated by profit-mongering capitalist food store chains, so that you will have to buy 80 dogs & 80 buns at a time to make it come out even. lol & pass the mustard, pls.
