Motorcycle wheelie's

I went to Wal-Mart a couple of days ago (I go there so often I might as well live there! LOL). I I had gone in the evening when the sun already set. My 6 year old son and I started walking towards the store when I heard motorcycles on the main part of the street. I stopped to look at them. As they had been going up the overpass I watched one do a wheelie...then the second motorcyclist did one. The second guy had held his wheelie longer than the first guy and he came down HARD on his bike, but he made it successfully. But just think if he or his buddy hadn't? This road is 3 lanes on one side and there was a lot of traffic directly behind them (they had ben in pole position at the stoplight). It would have been a big ugly mess if one of them had wiped out... What do you think of motorcyclists doing wheelie's? What about when it's done around a lot of traffic? Are these motorcyclists asking for trouble? And for those of you that ride a motorcycle have you ever done a wheelie? Was it successful or did you wipe out?
