My thoughts on the Final 2

I wanted a Jordin/Blake finale. It will feature two very different singers in every way possible.
Blake did a fantastic job with his songs on Tuesday. I've been a fan of his from the start, but didn't think he would make it to the final two until his great Bon Jovi night performance.
Jordin has been consistently great and has had a couple of Carrie and Kelly Idol performances along the way. The moments where you can just see her singing her song at the end of the final results show with the fireworks show going on around her.
I also really liked Melinda and was glad that she was in the final 3. Remember that there is NOTHING wrong with finishing 3rd. Chris Daughtry finished 4th last season and has sold more cds than any of the other performers from that season. I'm not saying that Melinda will sell anywhere near the amount of cds that Chris did, but it goes to show that this is not the last you will hear from her.
I am really looking forward to the finale and will be happy with whoever wins. I can't think of any other season where I have felt that way.

Yes, but let's also remember that Chris Daughtry is the best there has been!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no, something is WRONG when one finishes THIRD! Remember that votes determine whether one proceeds or ends his/her American Idol career. We may hypothesize, that people, being confident with Melinda entering the finals, opted to select either Blake or Jordin to pair with her, yet not realizing that this kind of mentality puts Melinda at a risk of not entering into the finals.
Secondly, the recently revealed results tell something of the perception of the American viewers relative to that of the three judges. Was it a vote of resentment or disapproval or just a random streak? How better then are Blake and Jordin compared to that of Melinda? In the absence of tangible standards from the audiences, it would be difficult to really tell the score.

i exactly feel the way you do! i like both jordin and blake to be the final 2. whoever of the two wins, i'll be so gland cause those two are my favorites though i like blake just a little more than jordin. but anyways, good luck to the two of them!

I'm not sure who I want to win either I have voted for both Blake and Jordin myself from the start actually. They are both great to me. Jordin is a great singer and Blake is great at beat bopping and singing. So i think they both have a 50/ 50 chance of winning.

I think I will also be happy with either Blake or Jordan. Really, I would have a hard time choosing which one I like best. Jordin really has the range and a beautiful clear tone to her voice, but Blake has a style that is different and new --I love that beatboxing stuff he does. They told him he didn't have to do it on EVERY song, but he loves it and the audience loves it too. I don't think he overdid it. This show is going to catapult many of the singers to a nice career, so it doesn't matter at this point. Notice there were no tears from anyone this week. They know it too.

I also was hoping for Jordin and Blake in the final two. They are both so talented it's hard to pick just one. I am sure both of them will have great careers ahead of them. I'd be happy with either one of them as the next American Idol.: )

Should be good...Blake and Jordin were the two I was hoping for and predicting. Melinda may have been "good" but she is also boring.
