How do you mylot when your internet is slow?

I go do something else, either on the computer or in the house. This site, when it is slow, is not worth getting upset over.

Is your comp and connection supposed to be slow? If yes, then naturally it is slow. :P If not, then it might really be spyware of virus. Kill them and you will be free lol. :P If myLot is slow, I will perhaps curse and swear, then go do other things. Or, I will just reply from email notifications - saving the responses somewhere first. And in fact, this is the setting where I churn out longer and more quality responses - since there are no distractions and given that the number of available notifications are limited in a sense, I sort of "savor" them slowly.

It does get frustrating sometimes when I am trying to correspond here on myLot but my internet is either slow or my computer is running slow. I just upgraded my RAM not too long ago so my internet and other programs are running better. Before I had sit and bear it out and just deal with it. Hoping in the near future that I can get a new and faster computer which will make it easier. I do keep up with maintenance on my computer to make sure everything is running well.

i tend to log off, empty my unnecessary files, delete my discussion notifications then start again. So far it has worked for me. I will also close down yahoo or msn whatever i have running at the time blessed be

I am on good old dial up laugh out loud. My connection is slow anyway. I always run my adaware and my spywareprotection every day though also. I also delete cookies and files often. I also make sure to defragment when I get the chance to. I hate when the computer goes slow and it makes me way behind in earning online sometimes. Sometimes I take a time out when I cannot figure out what the problem is. I hope you get your computer running faster because there is nothing worse when you are online trying to earn and you have slowness in the internet to go right along with it. may be you can use high speed internet acces that can helping to solve the mylot problem. if you take this way it's may loose your frustation. i think change with the high specify computer will take good effect. giving help tool also can increase the computer working. and use the correct provider can help you to.

i was lucky because little before I enjoy mylot I change my INTERNET connection and also I buy a new computer.Before I had slow connection with slow computer.Now everything are fine. happened once to me and even if i try clean my computer I didn't solved the problem ...after two days a format saved me. But if I had slow internet I'm sure i gonna let it and go to do other things.Of course first I gonna say a big *asto diaolo*.

When mylot is slow I just don't use it. I can't comprehend how people on slow internet like dial up would cope with slow Mylot and trying to respond to so many discussions. I would not use mylot on slow internet.

When my internet is slow I stay far away from MyLot. It is so easy to make me mad that if I tried to get on MyLot from a computer that is dial up, I would probably end up throwing the stupid computer out the window!

Strangely enough I've not had any problems recently with my PC or Internet running slow. However, quite late on in the evenings, my internet connection has been going funky - to the extent that I'm being kicked offline and I don't know why. I don't use dial up so it's not that, and when I check the connectivity it says I'm connected, yet when I try to open my browser it tells me I'm not connected to the internet. That drives me absolutely CRAZY, especially when I'm in the middle of something because I end up losing my work, and having to start all over again. I used to get frustrated when Mylot was running slow too. I ended up just logging out and waiting a while before logging back in. That was usually enough to solve the problem.

Whenever the internet is slow, what I do is try to see what I can do and if it doesn't work out, I just sign out and wait until it gets ok. Thanks

I try to mylot from work as their computer is much faster connection than mine. I have dial up. Talk about slow. I just do the best I can. If I start to get aggrivated I log off and get back on later. They don't offer broadband here where I live so I have to deal with dial up. It sucks.

I can't do anything much when the computer is slow because I'm using dial up. Anyways, I have applied for broadband connection which will be installed sometime next week. Whenever the computer is slow, I open a game like Zuma or Ravenshearst, for instance, while waiting for the pages to load. I'd play a couple of rounds and if the connection is really slow, I would just turn the computer off and read a magazine. It's quite irritating to wait when you wanted so much to post.

Thank God for broadband connection. I have not experienced slow connection to myLot so far. Except for a few occasions where myLot is a bit slower than usual but no slow enough to irritate me. You suspected some viruses that cause your connection to be slow. have you checked your internet connection speed?

When things are going slowly it isn't usually because my internet is boggy, but because of the computer. It needs a ram upgrade, so if I am downloading anything or burning anything. it takes everything considerably longer. I usually try to save those tasks for overnight, so can use the computer normally when I am awake.

Sometimes I also find it's slow in Mylot. At that time I will try to close some software I'm using, so perhaps the connection will be faster. Many people post and reply in Mylot, so its server must be so busy. If it doesn't work, there is no other better way, I have to wait and try to avoid the "rush hour":)
