What do you wear on your feet when walking around your house?

Do you wear anything on your feet when you are just walking round your own house?
In the winter i usually wear socks, often slipper socks as our laminate floor in the kitchen is very slippy, or if it's really cold i'll wear socks and slippers!
In the morning when i've just got up and am too sleepy to put socks on i'll just slip my slippers on. I don't like to walk round in bare feet even in the summer as we have cold, hard wooden floors downstairs that also get a bit dirty from the cats fur easily.
In the summer i oftne wear comfey slip flops isntead of slippers so that my feet are still cool but don't get dirty.

This house it totally carpeted so I never wear anything on my feet in the house, winter or summer. When I have been out I usually take my shoes off before my coat. I just prefer to have nothng on my feet. I have very dry rough skin on both my heels though and I think it is caused from being barefoot most of the time.

I have arthritis in my feet, so it hurts to go barefooted, so I always have on comfy shoes of some type. I have so many pairs of shoes that I can't wear now, because with the arthritis, heel and too flats hurts, so I stick to comfy shoes that are not too hard, and have an arch, and comfy insoles.

I usually just run around barefoot. Unless the house is chilly, then I'll wear socks. I really don't wear shoes in the house nor really slippers.

In the warm months I generally go about the house barefooted, not outside though as we have too many dangerous creatures etc about.
I like for my toes to be able to stretch out and seperate, so shoes are very confining to me.
in the winter I will use slippers or socks with slippers, we have cement floors and they get so very cold that my legs will even ache.

I wear socks or nothing usually in the house. Mostly socks as I do not like anythingg stuck on my feet.

When at home i usually wear slippers with low heels or flat slippers. When in bathroom i use bathroom slippers. For winters i have specially made sleepers which are made from fur and provide necessary warmth to the feet.

I usually just wear socks around the house. I also go barefoot. Usually always have socks on in the winter time and colder weather, but sometimes in the mornings or late evenings after I have my pj's on I'll take my socks off. Summertime is usually barefoot though just because its warm enough. I am not a huge fan of slippers. Not sure why

i prefer walking with my slippers when i am inside the house. it is more comfortable becuase i don't get to step on dust and dirt. i also like wearing socks inside my slippers if the weather is cold.

I either go barefoot, or if my feet get particularly cold I wear slippers. We only have a small studio apartment, so no cold wooden floors for us! Its all carpeted with lino in the kitchen.

Hello,hezoid,I have carpets at my home but i like to wear slippers,I do not want any dust stick on my foot and make my bedroom dusty and dirty,in the winter time,i will also wear socks as well because the floor is too cold,I think my foot will be freezed if i am walking without socks, and i was told I would catch a cold easily if i did not keep my foot warm.
If i go to the backyard,i will have another slippers which I only use it when I am outside the house.

I go barefoot for as much of the year as possible. I really don't like wearing anything on my feet if I can avoid it. If it is cold I wear heavy duty socks and if it is really cold I will also wear slippers on top of them. If I am going to be ina and out of the house a lot and it is wet outside, whether it is warm or cold, I will often slip on a pair of croc sandals, and leave the heel strap foreward so I can flip them on or off depending on whether I'm coming in or going out. At the beach I just wear plain old sandals, and in the water I usually wear flippers on my feet.

I go around my house bare foot. We clean our floors every day as the boyfriend is obcessive compulsive about it. I love not having shoes or socks on. Granted I try not to go outside like that... but indoors I am shoeless.

i have to wear my slippers at the moment as we have just moved into our flat and we have no carpet in the kitchen,hallway,toilet or bathroom and its cold at the moment as we have like concrete floors.

Well in Winter it would be my nice, cosy, slippers - and in Summer, probably nothing at all. I certainly NEVER wear shoes in the house - they are the first thing I take of the inute I walk through the door when I come home from work.

I don't usually wear anything unless it's cold and then I wear socks. If it's really cold and during the winter time, I wear socks and slippers. My feet get the coldest compared to the rest of my body. I can't fall asleep with socks on though. I have tried over and over and never can seem to do it. :(
