We all agree Coaches are technically extra intelligent but we need coach who can understand indian psyche, who can think like indian cricket, understand mind to mind and heart to heart, unless and untill we don't get this quality of coach ,it doesn't matter BCCI spent millions of dollars to foreign coach or sub-continent coach, and do u think do we reallly need a coach and tht too from outside our country only...???

I think that India should hire Dav Whatmore. The Indians have the ability to play well, but aren't revealing it. It's time that the hugely experienced Dav Whatmore contributes to the team.

Probably yes as he has the experience of coaching sub-continent teams and is also a world cup winning coach.
Though we can well continue with cricket manager, a bowling and fielding coach. I like the concept but then ravi shastri dont want to continue.

I think India no need to hire foreign coach. Many local ex-international players should be able to handle the job. Local coach will understand local needs and it would be easier for the players and as well for the coach to suit to the coaching style. Beside that an Indian coach will be able to strengthen the spirit of nationalism, and players will fight for their heart and soul for the country they love.
