i think that in the past few years our health care has dramatically went down the tubes.they closing our hospitals and all our doctors are moving to big cities.its all about money,and the goverment is wasting lots of it on crap.
how many times do they need to send shuttles into space,i think there are enought aliens here on earth the way some of them act.

you are right about the need for government to prioritize projects and expenses. people should matter more than those exploration projects which are so expensive and unnecessary. neither do i understand the logic behind it. is it just for making the us appear like such a strength to consider even in scientific research outside of the only planet that sustains us? if this is so, then it is just for posture rather than as it is claimed to be.
