As per the requests from my valuable friends here, I am putting a good picture of the 'funny bird' whose name I have mentioned many times in mylot and is repeated in the title here. This is a bird that loves a lot of attention, and it looks at you and sings for you, but always from a safe distance. The ones I have befriended are still a bit camera-shy, but I guess I will be able to get some better pictures in the near future. I keep trying. BTW, if you have pictures of this bird (taken by you, not from the sites) please do share them here. I also invite your pictures of any bird that has something interesting about it. P.S. ( I guess this is a better picture, Grandpa Bob. I am still hunting for my best pic!)

In this picture i see a crown on the birds head! The bird comes from royalty for sure! I think you are gonna have to give this bird a name Mivarg! Take care.

I would welcome it if you would suggest a name. I am not really imaginative about names. Thanks for the posting, friend.

Great close up. If you have a link about this bird attatch it here. Also a good suggestion is use your photo editing spftware and adjust the photos contrast and brightness. You can bring out more features on the bird. Thanks again for another great view of this intriguing bird, HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I really like this picture. I am familiar with this bird, and know how difficult it is to photograph them. I appreciate your effort. It is always fun to listen to the sounds these birds make. I was once truly impressed by the way they stood behind a big leaf and imitated the sound of a cat so that all the various kinds of birds around were scared and flew away. Then, the bird imitated the scared sounds these birds made, one by one, as they flew away. I wished I had my handycam with me then!
