Have you EVER won anything out of a claw machine? I think there rip offs!

I am usually not too good at the claw games, have only one once or twice. My nephews and neices are pretty good at it, with a little bit of work they can get something out after a few coins. But I have a friend who I would call an expert. He would use a couple quarters to reposition and move some items and then he went to work and would grab a half a dozen things in a row. The place I worked did a charity carnival and he contributed a couple of trash bags full of stuffed toys for prizes. It just shows that even though they are hard to work, they can be beat.

I've never won but a couple of things from one of those claw machine thingies. I have a friend though that gets something each and every time she puts her change in. I think she's only missed a couple of times that I can think of. What's better yet is that you tell her you want this one thing, and she will almost always get it. I think it's more a matter of good aim and timing than anything else. Good grief, this girl has got boxes and boxes of those little stuffed animals and things, lol. She gives them to kids, includes them with presents (as package decorations) and donates them to charities for kids. Conspiracy? Naw...more like coordination I think.

I've actually been pretty lucky with those. My kids have their rooms stuffed full of horribly cheap teddy bears that I've won from those machines. Most of them though are pretty hard to win at as it looks like the claws are made of aluminum foil and couldn't get a grip onto anything.

I have friends who are addicted to claw machines. They actually win stuff pretty often. I saw my one friend pay 25 cents and get a dollar from the machine. that's pretty awesome I think.

I have actually won ALOT of things from the claw machines. In my country (singapore) the machines are pretty rigged (i believe).. But I know that there's always a technique for toys of different shape, size and weight. In singapore, we pay $1 for each try with the machine, and I am proud to say that I am able to catch a big toy within a few dollars. Plus in singapore, the toys are imported from japan, not those cheap ugle teddy bears..
