What do you think the world will look like in 2037?

It's always hard to look into the future, but what about in the near future? What do you think our society will look like 30 years from now? Will our societies change? What about our economics? Will there be a different set of geopolitical realities on the ground (ie a new hyperpower to replace the old one)? What about the environment? Demographics? If you think back to the world that our parents "became adults in" (some of us anyway, we don't want MIG to tell us about his parents' pre-WW1 experiences ) 30 or so years ago - it was pretty different to our world today. What kind of world will our own children become adults in? Discuss...
