Two of the three that I've tried have been scams. I'm learning what to look for before joining. The third program is please-invest and I fear that I won't be paid by them, either, given their e-gold problem.

I went to their site and they claim to be on "Round 2" and have zeroed out everyone's account. I had a pending withdrawal that has been wiped away. I hope that no one invests in "Round 2".

I was also member of please-invest, scammed me also. I lost 6$, it is not much, but anyway. Don't invest in this site!!! Scamer just opened 2 round of scam. I read that people will inform e-gold about that site. Hope they will close his account!!!

Hi Pointyblue, I have been involved in these programs since last year and these programs makes fool of us. They seems so sincere at the first few months but later they refuse to reply any of your emails or even run away with your money. Always there is no free lunch in the world and it could be a good lesson for me.

Hi Yeenee, It seems you are right, you have to be careful investing in hyips. I think the advice about only chosing very new programs and only investing small sums are very good though. Think I'll try, just for the fun of it.

P.S also check to see what the different monitor sites say about the ones you are looking into. They always have a list of scams.

Most of the HYIP (and I think all) are Ponzi Shemes (or invest in it),I have earned 1.75$ on please invest: 0.25$ investment and withdraw 2 $ later, one day when I have more then 5$ on this account I loose all of it,I read that some people have lost 250$ and more with this HYIP,it is quite clear that the 1.75$ I have won was money of the people who have lost. I have warned some people not to invest a lot of money in it and take the profit as soon as possible, this is the only way you can earn on it.

some work for awhile at the start, than turn into scams. I have just tried and finished my first one. I had put $.25 cents into it, so it wasnt too bad, but they give you $2.50 for first 10,000 to sign up. I made $1, cashed out and recieved it. So when I got to $5, I requested, never recieved, got up to about $6, and a week and a half later, still haven't been paid, and now yesterday, they deleted everyones ammount, and tried to pull it off as a round 2 thing. So dont us www.please-invest.com... its a scam now.
