I have been diagnosed with Crohns disease for about 6 years now and have been putting off starting a family because of it. My husband and I were thinking of starting to have kids soon and I was wondering if any one else with Crohns could share there experiance of having crohns and being pregnent.

It could be different for others, but my pregnancies were not too difficult. I have Crohns disease and have been pregnant 7 times. The most important thing to remember is to watch your diet. You probably already know what foods will bother you, so make sure that you avoid them. Make sure that you take your vitamins, and get lots of rest when you need it. I know that during my pregnancies I got tired easily. You will also have to work with your doctor as far as any medication changes that may be needed. You might want discuss this before trying to become pregnant.
