I should be moving to the UK soon from Portugal and plan to get a computer and Internet to contact home on a daily basis, so I was wondering what are the best providers, I prefer fast, reliable Internet connections, and unlimited downloading or at least a big download allowance so to speak. I'd also like to know prices... If you have their site please add the link, and if you use that provider and service please give me your testimonial. I'd appreciate it, oh and please tell me if it is phone or cable connection, and if there's any requirements. Thanks

Watch out for most.
BT (isn't good) and they'll charge you for over using your connection. AOL rip people off and have downtime issues in certain place.
Virgin media which used to be NTL. (which was a bad company for support) yet the internet is fine, fair priced and it's not based on bandwidth etc ~Joey
Be careful I know friends who have been charged a lot just for going a few mbs over. (not gb)
