What are great summer activities to do with toddlers and 7 year old?

The summer school holidays are approaching fast and I want to be prepared to enjoy this fully.This will be my first time seeking to enjoy this great time of year with toddlers and 7 year old.
There are many limitations eg. cannot go often to theater with a twin stroller. Then can only choose places that have stroller access neither cannot choose too many traveling-to-different provinces/states outings since children get tired and fretful.
So what can I plan other than shopping and picnicking?
Please share your great outdoor ideas and experiences for me to capitalize on.

There are so many things you can do right at home with your toddlers and 7 yr old. Why not go out and purchase a little plastic pool. The kids will love it~ all kids love playing in water. Buy your 7yr old some sidewalk chalk. They can probably all use it and color up the driveway and sidewalks.
A fun outside activity is getting a small table that the kids can reach the top and spray shaving cream all over it. Let the kids fingerpaint with the shaving cream. My kids look forward to doing this every summer. It is a great outside activity that is a bit messy, but easy to clean up.
Also, go outside, pick flowers, play tag, just enjoy~
