I have dated a few guys in my time and have always hoped that he was the one that I was to spend the rest of my life with, but so far, it has not worked out that way. How did you know when the person was right for you? And How did the proposal go?

i got married in dec 2004. my husband was my first and last boyfriend. we started dating in january 2001. i met him in Mt. Banahaw (one of the famous mountains here in the philippines). my officemates went there during the holy week of 2000. fortunately one of my officemates know my husband's tourguide. we merged groups and he never left my side until we got home. after that he started courting me... until i accepted him....

Me and my husband had only been going out for like a month and girl that I worked with asked me if I wanted any more kids and I told her you know my bf is the only one I can ever see myself having more kids with. Then I went to his house and told him how I wanted to go back to school and I could make a lot of money to advance in my career and he told me that when I was done with school he could get out of the Army and I could support him while he started a business and I was like ok. Didn't scare me at all to think that way with him.
The proposal was kind of weird found out I was pregnant unexpectingly and we both had talked about marriage but nothing set in stone and he walked on our kitchen and said I think we should just get married. That was it, that was my proposal then afterwards he tried to propose in taco bell but I told him I wanted a real one. LOL We still love each other and are happy as can be.
