In what situations of your life (past or present), that the message of this song "take me out of the dark my Lord, I don't wanna be there..." was also somewhat the cry of your heart? How did the Lord brought out from that situation? Maybe your experience will help us too one way or the other as we go through life.

Your post caught my attention really well. . (sigh).. I actually don't know where to begin here my friend. Sad to say, i'm in my darkest, lowest point right now. I've been carrying these weight of the world on my shoulders for the longest time. . Thanked god i'm still striving and kicking my a*ss just to survive these emotional downfall i've been experiencing. I can still hang on. That song makes me so emotional everytime i hear it. whew!! .. I know it will come and i'm not losing hope. Take care you and by the way, welcome aboard!!! Sure you'll gonna enjoy your stay here. (",)

I can see that you really like Gary's songs and I think you listen to them a lot. don't you know that when he performs he always do like...(sigh)... He is a good guy. Everyone has their darkest, lowest point of life and I'm glad that you are not losing hope. Surely you will see Him reaching out to you my friend sooner than you ever hope for. By the way, you have already begin sharing "that weight of the world-that emotional downfall your at now." Take heart, Jesus Christ promise to help us. See Matthew 11:28-30. He has also has this one song that goes- Just hang-on, we know we can get there,after all the waiting's done we'll be the one's to find out, if we hang on, we know we're on our way..so just hang on.- I would've written the lyrics of "natutulog ba ang Diyos." but that's too many tagalog words.

Joseelmo, there was a time in my life when my family's finances were at its lowest point. I have to stop schooling for a while and we probably take our meals twice a day only. But we survived all the hardships and was able to recover. Thanks to our faith to the Lord. I was able to finish my studies.
With that, I think my Lord took us out of the dark!
