This one is called 'black-necked oriole'. It sings beautifully. Favourite food - fruits, especially jackfruit, and worms:)It is getting close to me and used to my camera. It is seen sitting on a gooseberry tree. Have you seen this one before? Please do share your views on this.

I have not seen this one - it looks beautiful. If it gets tame enough will you feed it with worms on your hand! I have a bird table and put out food on it - seeds mainly. We get visited by sparrows, blue t-i-t-s (apparently Mylot won't let me put that word in LOL), chaffinch, wood pigeons, collared doves and unfortunately magpies and starlings as these seem to drive the others away.

Thanks for the compliment. You seem to have a lot of bird friends as well. If you have their pictures, it would be a great idea to share them here. It's a nice idea to feed these birds. I leave some seeds for them under the trees and stay at a distance, as I do not want to create a discord in their natural life. They are pretty good at finding food on their own, but I get some satisfaction when they pay some attention to what i do forthem. They get a lot of worms this season, from the big leaves of trees. I always feel that it would have been a real problem for me if these virds were not around to eat those worms:)
