Hi everyone. I am finding a cheap web host to host my websites. I want it to be cheap and good. I am thinking of DreamHost but I'm not sure with it. Suggestions?

Well a "good" host depends on exactly what you are looking for.
Like what are you planning on hosting with it?
Right now I use www.trap17.com temporarily, while I work on getting everything set up. It is a free host that has a lot of features(500 mb/30 gb transfer, 100 sql databases, php, etc.) and has very little to no lag.
The only downside to it is that you must make a small post on their forums every 2-3 days to keep it active. Really it does not take much time, but some people feel that is too much work.
Some things to keep in consideration are the bandwidth usage limits, as well as space. Right now my site is using about 29 mb's of space but I am hitting the 1.8-2.2 gb bandwidth mark every month. Some hosts would definitely not allow this much to be used.

I'm using Surpasshosting.com. I've registered for a reseller hosting with them and I've had no problems so far. They offer excellent service and I haven't expierenced any downtime whatsoever. Take note that this reseller of mine is currently hosting 5 of my domains plus 3 of my friends domains and I have plenty of subdomain hostings in most in my domains.
I have this friend a 100pesos/month package hosting located here - http://panelhoster.net
I'm offering domain hosting as well, so let me know if your interested. I can host you for 1000pesos a YEAR if you want so basically you get 2 months free if compared to my friend's package haha :) Just message me!

http://hostwq.net offers both free and paid hosting. I would suggest you use the free hosting if you're a beginner.

I've been with Dreamhost since 2004 and I'm not that happy with them. The price is still great and they do give lots of space and bandwidth (too much in fact. I have a very busy site, but even that barely uses any bandwidth), but their support desk has really gone down hill (they take a long time to get back to you, their responses are less than helpful or they simply won't help you at all), but they've been experiencing downtime that other hosting companies are not experiencing. The thing that annoys me the most (although it's doing better now) is that my busiest site would do down for several hours to a day without any reason while my other sites (on the same server) would function just fine. They've never been able to tell me why this happens and that doesn't help either. Instead of giving us more space and bandwidth that we'll never use I'd rather have sites that never go down or at least much less.
I don't want to leave them though as I still think they're okay, they're just not as good as they used to be. Plus most of the time the service is good, it's just a shame about the support desk. They used to be helpful!
