Does snake COBRA drink milk?????

In India, there is a belief that king cobra drink milk and egg being opened by cobra itself.The devotees know where this cobra lives and they offer milk and egg to it. They believe these cobras drink milk and say they have seen it with their own eyes and also opens the egg themselves and drink it too. I myself dont believe this and i have never seen this.Scientifically it has been proved that cobra does not drink milk and dont take eggs.i wonder whether this habit prevails with people of other countries. People consider this as a worshipping method but i feel they can feed this milk for a hungry children as one can see many people and children starving for food in streets.I dont want to hurt the people who believe this worshipping but its my opinion which i feel. Do you believe this and have you seen it persoanlly?
