I dont know about Texas. But i am coming soon there with my kids.I meet a man online who is living their.And he is now preparing our papers so he can get me and my kids to be with him there.We love each other so much. And we are getting married either way when everything is fixed.
Do you live in Texas?Can you give me some idea of the people and everything about there???

What part of Texas are you planning to live in? I live in Southwest Texas, the Rio Grande Valley, that is. Here in the valley the people is great and we have some malls, the South Padre Island, museums, parks, Brownsville Zoo, etc.

I am about 611 miles away from Blossom, Texas, it would take me about 9 hours and 44 minutes to get there. I went to ask.com and it tells me this is a small town of approx. 1,439 population as per the 2000 census. This town is in the Lamar County. The nearest big city is Dallas, Texas or Texarcana, Texas. I have never been in this town so I wouldn't know what are the main attractions there. Hope this helps you.

i dont live in Texas. but i just felt i had to say something about this.
please becareful! im sure he is a good man, but you just never know these days! try to get a background check on him or something. or perhaps HE can come visit you and your children BEFORE you make the major move to the states.
cause once you get here, if he turns out not to be such a great guy..what would you do? where would you go, especially with your children?

Great respond.Your advice is highly appreciated.He is coming to visit me and it will take 4 to 6 months before he can get us and he said that he required to visit me twice before we can be there in Texas with him.
I have a feeling that he is a good man.I have a lot of bad past and experiences,so i guess i have the ability to know if the man is bad or good or just pretending that he is someone else...
With God's help,and prayers,i know and wishing whole heartedly to God that he is the right man for me at this time.i hope you can wish for me too!!!

I know what are you trying to tell me Jamian. I have already think all the consequences that might happen. I have a lot of bad past already and im sure, ive learned a lot from it. I am still waiting for him to come here. And if he really come and visit me soon, then maybe he would be my soulmate. I have faith that God wont fail me at this time.

I lived in Beaumont Texas from 1988 to 1990. My two years there was filled with lots of wonderful memories. Texas can be really hot during the summer and really cold during the winter. I love it there and I really hope one day I would be able to go back and see how things have changed over there.

Thats great to hear from your experiences to stay for 2 years there. Now i understand when he told me that he have a central heater and airconditioning at home when i ask him about the temperature.
I am afraid that i may get sick there and my kids because philippines is real hot and we never have snow here.So we surely adjust ALOT when we are there already...

Do you mean that you are coming from the philippines to move here to Texas and live with this man?? And he is taking care of the 'paper work' to make the move possible?
Be very, very cautious, my friend. Especially since you have children involved.
We all know about meeting people online and how you can feel like you know everything about them ...... but you can't ever really know for sure. Don't be hasty in your decision.
It would be worth the money you would spend to do a background check on this man, his business, his addresses, even his ex-wives if their are any. You can never be too safe when it come to your children. Better safe than sorry.
With all that said......
Blossom Texas is Northeast of Dallas, Texas a pretty good way. The closest town that will have larger shopping and services is a place called Sherman, Texas.
I don't know a lot about the philippines but you could be in for quite a culture shock moving to small town Texas.
