pick a matching pair of socks blindly

you have 10 pairs of red and 10 pair of green socks in your drawer. you have to get matching color pair of socks from your drawer without seeing it. How many least socks you need to take out of the drawer to get one matching color pair?............... Sometimes things are not as difficult as they seem..............

Of course it is not difficult to do this. You need only 3 socks to get a matching pair. You can arrive at the answer even using probability. The different scenarios that can take place is as follows: Red Red Red Red Red Green Red Green Green Red Green Red Green Green Green Green Green Red Geeen Red Red Green Red Green In all the above cases you get a pair of the same colour. There is no other possibility.
