Do you think lying be a kind of evil ?

when lying ,evevyone has his/her own reason,so do u think lying be a kind of evil or just a kind communicatin ? why are you lying ? for what? fun or self-protect? or other ?

Im not so sure lieing is evil, but I do think its uneccassary, also people who lie have to maintain that lie and keep telling lies to cover for the first one, its a never ending cirlce and gets you nowhere in the end.
