The Forbidden Game by L.J. Smith. I read this when I was 12. This was a wonderful young adult book that went in depth about doing the right thing and overcoming your own faults. It was very well written and kept my interest. Even today, I go back and read this book from time to time. Mixing romance, strong friendships, suspense, mystery, and providing some very good morals makes this a wonderful book and must read.

Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings. I like fantasy very much. But i also think that the classic authors as Alexander Duma and Onore dio Balsak are great.
