The next snooker major tournament is The Northern Ireland Trophy, scheduled between 12 and 18 of August.

Thanks for the info, but is that part of the new season or is it still part of the old one?

It's a part of the 2007-2008 season. The World Snooker Championship was the last tournament of the 2006-2007 season.
