I am left handed as well. theres this tv program that i have watched tackling about left or right handed. it says that left handed people are skillful and can easily adopt things and work things out easily. im not sure if this is true though im guessing somehow part of it is true. i also write in my right hand though not as good with my left because i do not practice writing in right hand.

Guess I'm the minority then. I'm left-handed. It's great that you can write with your right hand too. Wish I can do that.

You can always try to do it. Just takes some practice and patience. And if you fail, it's not the end of the world and no one will judge you differently.

Left-handed and proud of it... hahaha.
Yes, I am left-handed, although there was a failed experiment when I was younger to try and teach me how to write with my right hand. It was too weird for me at that point, I think I was like 7 or 8, and I just gave up without trying. I think it's awesome to be able to write with both hands. I had an old football teammate in high school who had to learn how to write left-handed because he broke his hand in a game out senior year. Now, even though he is okay, he still writes with his left hand sometimes just to keep the ability fresh.

I do the same thing today, just to keep the ability fresh.
I had an accident a few years ago and messed up my left hand, so it was good that I already knew how to use my right hand. The writing was almost unreadable, but it was better than not being able to take notes in class.

I am predominantly right handed. I broke my right hand years ago and had to adapt to writing with my left and doing things with my left hand, now I am ambidextrous. I used to play softball and it would throw people off that I pitched with my left and batted with my right. They couldn't figure me out. So, I was a good pitcher. I have always been able to do things with both hands just as well. Writing not so much!

Yeah, that would definately throw them for a loop :P
But that makes for a good element of surprise when you really need it and they least expect it.

I am right handed. My husband is left handed. I also babysit alittle boy who is left handed. When my husband was young the nuns tried to make him use his right hand. His knuckles have scars from the nuns rulers.

My mom used to have her left hand tied behind her back to force her into using her right hand.
It's sad the kind of punishment they doled out back then , just because they thought lefthandedness was abnormal.
All 4 of us in my house are left handed and so is most of my family.

I'm right handed. I think being left handed and right handed at the same time is great. My teacher told us something like if your left brain is working more than the other then there is a possibility that you're to be a left handed person. your whole brain is working greatly! That's an advantage :D

Good discussion! I am left handed and I bat in softball right handed. I have a hard time catching the ball right handed and wearing a glove is difficult. I naturally reach with my left hand and I throw the ball with my left hand.
My children are both right handed as their father is. All my siblings started out left handed and the two older ones were forced to use their right hand. I am happy that they left me alone.
Are you artistically talented? So many lefties are are.
I like being different and observing how lefties write. I do not write upside down. I corredted my self so I would not smear the ink when I write.
I start off on my right foot. I think I am left handed in almost everything I do.

I wish i could use both my hands equally well but the fact is i am so much of a right handed person that my left hand is pretty weak, can't really depend on it !

I am right handed. I've tried to write with my left but it looks worse that a 5 year old writing. haha I think it would be great to write legibly with both hands. Is your writing legible in both?

It's fairly legible for the wrong hand. It does get better the more I use it though.
